If you want to refresh policy assignment immediately (for example, if you're testing in a lab environment), you can use the gpupdate command. Link the updated policy to the OU with the devices whose channel you want to change.īy default, Group Policy refreshes in the background every 90 minutes. The policy setting is under Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office 2016 (Machine)\Updates. Use the Administrative Template files (ADMX/ADML) for Microsoft 365 Apps to enable the Group Policy setting Update Channel and select the new channel. This task, which updates the assigned channel, is a required part of managing updates for Microsoft 365 Apps, whether you use Group Policy, the Office Deployment Tool, Microsoft Configuration Manager, or Microsoft Intune. Change the update channel with Group Policyīefore you begin, make sure the scheduled task "Office Automatic Updates 2.0" is enabled on the client devices. In order to remove an application’s access to your directory (after having granted consent), the company administrator must remove its service principal. More specifically, they're represented by only a service principal object in your tenant, with no corresponding application object.
If you're viewing App registrations in the context of a tenant, a subset of the applications that appear under the All apps tab are from another tenant and were registered into your tenant during the consent process. Remove an application authored by another organization Select Delete to confirm that you want to delete the app.Check the box if one appears at the bottom of the pane. Once you've selected the app, you see the application's Overview page. Under Manage, select App registrations and select the application that you want to configure.Search and select the Azure Active Directory.In the top menu to select the tenant in which the app is registered. If you have access to multiple tenants, use the Directory + subscription filter.Sign in to the Azure portal and sign in using one of the roles listed in the prerequisites.To delete an application, be listed as an owner of the application or have admin privileges. For multi-tenant applications, service principal objects in other directories will not be deleted.
Deleting an application will also delete its service principal object in the application's home directory.
